5th Seatrade Middle East Cruise Conference and Exhibition

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has announced that it is the official sponsor for the 5th Seatrade Middle East Cruise Conference and Exhibition to be held in Dubai from December 4 to 6.

The conference-cum-exhibition will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of DTCM, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).The event is also being supported by Dubai World, Dubai Maritime City and Gulf Energy Maritime.

DTCM will have 72 square metre stand at the exhibition and will feature five co-participants - SNTTA Emir Tours, Net Tours, Alpha Tours, Orient Tours and Gulf Ventures. The event forms part of Seatrade Middle East Maritime 2006, the premier maritime and shipping industry event for West and Central Asia.

The conference will be looking at the diversity of cruise products, cruise tourism expansion, principal drivers of cruise tourism growth, growth opportunities, maritime services, terminal facilities and cruise packages. DTCM operates the state-of-the-art Dubai Cruise Terminal. The ship-shaped building is located on a 335-metre quay offering the capacity to berth two ships simultaneously, while the terminal itself is around 3, 300 square meters in size.
