Ecobuild Federal and AEC-ST Federal

This year the Construction Management Association of America joins the American Institute of Architects, the Associated General Contractors, and the Construction Specifications Institute as a co-sponsor. The event is part of a multi-part conference and exhibition, December 4 through 7, that combines Ecobuild Federal, the conference and expo for Sustainable, Green, and High Performance Solutions for the Built Environment, and AEC-ST Federal, a conference and expo on science and technology for the built environment.

The FEDCon'06 program offers authoritative presentations and informal contacts with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, General Services Administration, and Department of State representatives. Topics include current and future building budgets and building type priorities, regional and international design/construction programs, regulatory changes, and overall future directions.

The exhibit features a uniquely integrated display of the latest green and sustainable building products, technologies, developments, and services, as well as IT solutions to help AEC professionals better design, specify, and manage their projects.

The 3 day conference program with more than 100 technical sessions in 10 tracks covers: Sustainable Design; Building Performance & Engineering; Green Construction & Homebuilding, Specifications, Codes & Contract Documents; Project Management & Delivery; Information Technology, BIM & Interoperability; Facilities Management & Operations; Infrastructure, Civil/Site/Land development; International Markets & Business, Government – Federal, State & Municipal.
