Mobile Office 2006 Trade Show

The Mobile Office trade show will be held from 5 to 7 December 2006, at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. Over 7, 500 visitors and 200 exhibitors are expected at the event. The trade show, which is being held for the sixth time, focuses on corporate mobile solutions. It is organised around 11 thematic routes enabling visitors to rapidly identify, on the floor plan, which exhibitors they want to see. Suzan DelBene, the Corporate Vice President of Marketing, Mobile and Embedded Devices Division at Microsoft, will be attending the event.

Mobile Office has become the leading event for corporate mobile solutions. The trade show presents all aspects of mobile technology, including terminals, networks, traceability, applications and machine-to-machine technology. This year, 200 exhibitors will present visiting companies with efficient mobile solutions for their roaming employees. Half of the visitors to Mobile Office come with a project in full roll-out phase, whereas the other half will be looking for mobile solutions for the first time.

Interactive services, games, news and marketing operations are all deployed through service and content bundles for PDAs and smartphones. The Mobile Marketing route is aimed at marketing, sales or communication directors and direct marketing, event marketing or advertising agencies. It focuses on mobile services as well as content and brings together all the players in the sector.

Mobile Office is also organising several events. The Expert Workshops will involve demonstrations to help visitors gain a better understanding of the functional scope of exhibitors' mobile solutions. The third edition of the Mobility Guide will also be distributed free-of-charge to all visitors.
