The 2007 Cable Show

CableNET once again will be part of The Cable Show and will highlight some of the newest technology and services that the cable industry is delivering. The 2007 Cable Show, to be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from May 7-9, 2007, is the 56th Annual Convention & International Exhibition sponsored by the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA).

CableNET celebrates its 15th anniversary this year as an educational technology showcase designed to highlight a wide variety of next-generation broadband technologies and services that cable operators are expected to deliver to consumers in the near term. Past CableNETs have showcased early generations of interoperable cable modems, voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and advanced interactive digital video technology prior to consumer market deployment.

CableNET provides an opportunity for cable technologists to demonstrate how the industry is maintaining its technology leadership position in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The CableNET exhibit in Las Vegas will emphasize next generation broadband content and applications with technology as an enabling tool; demonstrate innovations in products and services including advanced VoIP; and highlight the benefits of the industry's cutting-edge broadband services.
