TraceGuard Presents at Key Border Security Event

TraceGuard Technologies Inc., a developer of innovative security solutions for enabling improved explosives detection, announces its participation in a key US Government exposition on Border Security and Management. TraceGuard is planning to exhibit at the 4th International Aviation Security Technology Symposium held by the National Safe Skies Alliance in Washington, D.C., Nov. 27-Dec. 1, and will attend other select homeland security-oriented trade shows and conferences in the coming months.

Mr. Leskly's presentation, entitled "Improving Explosives Detection through Automatic Trace Extraction, dealt with challenges DHS and authorities face in detecting explosives at airports and border crossings, as well as opportunities for improving security and operational efficiency in this space. He analyzed how TraceGuard's product suite, being developed to provide for the automated trace extraction of explosives, narcotics and biological agents, provides superior capability than the manual inspection process currently used, and would increase the capability of security screening equipment already in place.

TraceGuard was honored to address government officials and industry executives on this important topic. Border Security is a critical mission and improving explosives detection at pedestrian checkpoints and crossings is one essential element of that effort. Sadly, American borders are still vulnerable to terrorists and smugglers, and the need for better detection of contraband is all too evident.
