International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition 2006

The International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition 2006 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Japan from November 15 to 17. This renowned event, a showcase of the newest technologies and emerging trends in broadcasting, is sponsored by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association and supported by the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan and the Japan Broadcasting Corporation. The Japan Electronics Show Association (JESA) will provide planning and management.

This year marks the 42nd staging of Inter BEE, which has continued to grow in scope and scale since the inaugural event in 1965. Because it brings together in one location the newest and most advanced broadcasting equipment from throughout the industry, Inter BEE provides ample opportunities for business expansion, technology exchange and market stimulation. The organizers forecast approximately 700 exhibitors and 1, 900 booths on Opening day — figures that represent an increase in both the number of exhibitors and the exhibition scale from all past years!

As the industry's leading professional exhibition for not only audio and visual technologies but also for the communications field, Inter BEE promises stimulating displays of the best professional equipment available. Each year, the show draws wide attention from broadcast industry insiders as well as from those involved in the many applications for broadcasting technologies.
