Holiday 2006 Sales and 2007 Forecast Briefing

DisplaySearch, the worldwide in display market research and consulting, is pleased to announce a special half day seminar analyzing holiday sales results through Thanksgiving weekend and the 2007 outlook for consumer electronics, PCs, displays and the display supply chain. The Holiday 2006 Sales and 2007 Forecast Briefing will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the Hyatt Santa Clara from 1-5pm followed by a reception for all attendees.

Thanksgiving weekend covering Black Friday is always the busiest week of the holiday season and the year for the US CE and PC industries. In 2005, Black Friday week accounted for 25% of holiday TV sell-through. This year is expected to be no exception. This event will break down the Thanksgiving weekend results, enabling attendees to get the first glimpse into the outlook for the 2006 holiday shopping season. NPD's Steve Baker and DisplaySearch analysts Ross Young, Barry Young, Chris Connery, John Jacobs and Paul Gagnon will discuss the latest sell-through, sell-in, channel inventory, product inventory and panel inventory results for all major display applications including TVs, monitors, notebook PCs, mobile phones, digital cameras and MP3 players.

Based on early holiday and sell-in results, the briefing will also provide guidance on the remainder of Q4'06, Q1'07 and all of 2007 for these markets as well as display pricing and supply/demand. Retailers, end product manufacturers, supply chain members and financial analysts will all find the briefing highly informative and will walk away with the latest sales information for a wide range of applications. Anyone looking for an early barometer on holiday 2006 sales will want to attend this exclusive DisplaySearch and NPD briefing.
