Digital Video Expo

Digital Video Expo announced that its tenth annual conference and exhibition will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center, where it will run from November 12 - 17, 2006. Focusing on HD, traditional video infrastructures, and the emergence on non-traditional distribution channels, Digital Video Expo is committed to providing up-to-the-minute information on cutting-edge tools, techniques and technologies to the professional digital video community.

Kicking off with Apple certification training and Avid software classes for DV professionals, Digital Video Expo will present an entire week of world- class sessions on such hot topics as after effects, audio, business webcasting, cameras, HD graphics, lighting, motion graphics, podcasting, and studio techniques, along with business and legal classes. This year's event also features free special events which are open to all attendees, including Apple- and Sony-sponsored sessions; and an Audio & Plug-In Pavilion.

In addition, Digital Video Expo is proud to host "HDV House" which offers filmmakers, videographers and editors expert advice on HDV production and post, from acquisition through delivery. As one of the most popular events at the Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals, HDV House is certain to be a highlight of Digital Video Expo, and is free to all attendees.

At the center of Digital Video Expo is its massive show floor, featuring over the industry's most innovative companies, including Avid, Canon, Canopus, Grass Valley, JVC, Panasonic and Sony. With the addition of numerous networking opportunities, Digital Video Expo has become an important gathering place for all Digital Video professionals.
