Expo Centre Sharjah To Jointly Host Safety and Security Exhibition

MEPOL, a specialized trade event for internal state security, police equipment, industrial site security, and civil defense, will be making its debut at Expo Centre Sharjah on November 6 this year. MEPOL has already received accreditation from USA's Federal Trade Authority and will be the Middle East's first and only specialized safety and security exhibition.

The debut edition of MEPOL will display a wide range of hi-tech safety and security equipment and technologies including command, control, communication and information systems, protection, observation, and surveillance technologies, forensic technologies, debugging and sweeping equipment, traffic control and road safety tools, rescue and emergency equipment, riot control equipment, optics and optronics, explosive detection technologies, technology and equipment for effective immigration control, and weapons.

The coming edition of MEPOL will feature manufacturers, importers, and dealers of safety and security equipment and also service industries, interior ministries, security authorities and police and special forces from across the globe.

A major highlight of the coming edition of MEPOL will be the conference on security related issues that will be held on the sidelines. The conference has been organized on the directions H.E Brigadier Saleh Ali Al Mutawa, Director General of Sharjah Police. The conference will focus on the subject of nation's safety and security, the need for developing security strategies through research and studies for achieving stability and prosperity for the country and the various challenges faced in implementing security and safety.
