London/Monaco, 25 March 2019 - BroadGroup, the information media technology company, is proud to announce that Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) will be participating at the 16th Annual Datacloud Global Congress taking place in Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum 4-6 June 2019 (http://www.datacloudcongress.com/). Conference delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about how TSF helps to provide the world’s disaster zones with much needed access to communications.

TSF will also be handing out a special Datacloud award to the company that has demonstrated the best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and implementation. These prestigious industry awards recognise companies and individuals in digital transformation businesses that inspire the markets with their pioneering spirit.

Philip Low, Chairman, BroadGroup said: “We are honoured to have TSF represented at Datacloud this year. They have an impressive heritage in providing essential emergency telecom services where a region’s telecom infrastructure has been destroyed. It will give our delegates a unique opportunity to learn more about their operations and the technologies their ICT experts develop in order to give the best response to the population in the most challenging environments”

Monique Lanne-Petit, director of TSF said: “Beyond disaster response, we develop and implement innovative solutions to protect vulnerable groups living in situations of prolonged instability. We collaborate with local organisations to enhance the learning opportunities of disadvantaged children through information and communication technologies (ICTs) and we develop ICT centres in isolated areas as a vehicle of social links facilitated by digital technologies. Datacloud Global Congress is the event that attracts the most influential and innovative players in the tech industry and we are delighted to be part of this event and have the opportunity to establish relationships with global partners.”

Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) is the 1st NGO specialised in emergency telecommunications and new technologies. TSF intervenes in less than 24 hours across the globe in areas affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises of any kind to provide lifesaving communication means to the affected population and the humanitarian actors active in the area, be it governments, the United Nations Agencies or fellow NGOs (https://www.tsfi.org/en/).
