Aspect Enterprise Solutions Wins Energy Risk Asia “CTRM Software House of The Year” Award SINGAPORE — November 23, 2018: ION, the largest global provider of trading, analytics and risk management solutions for commodities and treasury management, announced its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) in the cloud CTRM solution, Aspect, has accepted the top CTRM software award last night at the prestigious annual Energy Risk Asia Awards dinner in Singapore. The awards recognize excellence across Asian energy and commodities markets, and are decided by a panel of Energy Risk editorial experts. Aspect was chosen among all industry software firms for its innovation and client success. Among the reasons noted for Aspect’s win was its record 90% revenue growth in the Asia-Pacific region for 2018 in new business and client expansion from the previous year. Part of this growth came from its innovative Aspect Partner Program (APP), and valued Asia partner, Principia Consulting, who introduced two new clients Felix Petroleum and BP Sinopec. Other new clients in the region include Zenrock Commodities and Avra Commodities. Aspect’s partner program is unique in the energy and commodities trade and risk management space because it serves as an extended sales channel, as well as a resource for implementation. At Felix Petroleum, Project Manager, Mr. Yeo Loo San says Aspect has impressed trading team members who have decades of experience. “Not just because of the depth of its functional capabilities, but by the speed of its deployment. Aspect has given us a platform on which we can consolidate our gains to date, and build for the future.” Aspect’s market expertise, proven delivery experience, and cloud maturity were all factors considered for the award. Aspect has the largest install base of cloud software globally and in Asia, and was also awarded “Best CTRM Cloud” in the annual Energy Risk Rankings report for the second year in a row this year.
