Axios to showcase enhanced UI and assyst ITAM capabilities amid innovation drive at SITS17

Edinburgh, UK - 18th May 2017: 2017 Info-Tech Champions and one of the world’s leading providers of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions, Axios Systems, will be present at SITS17, the UK’s leading conference for ITSM professionals on the 7th and 8th June.

The conference, held in London’s Olympia, will showcase the latest in service management thinking and technology and welcomes over 4, 000 people and 50 free-to-attend seminar sessions over the two days.

Exhibiting on stand 302, event sponsor Axios will unveil an enhanced user interface on its leading ITSM solution assyst, the powerful capabilities of its integrated Asset Discovery (assyst ITAM) functionality and a preview of the new Kanban-style resource planning tools to help users manage their services, assets and support in a single, modern and easy-to-use application.

With much industry emphasis placed on the importance of alignment between IT and the wider business, Axios will deliver its recommendations of effectively undertaking this task within an organization in two separate speaking slots over the course of the event.

Axios Chief Technical Officer Chris Rydings will highlight the Conflicting Agendas of the CEO and CIO in an engaging presentation during the keynote session at SITS17 on Wednesday 7th June at 2:30pm in the Keynote Theatre.

Ahead of his keynote session, Chris said: “ITSM is a continuously evolving industry and that is reflected in the disparity between the needs of the CEO and CIO. Aligning these priorities with the wider business, and gaining their “buy in” is a crucial step in ensuring IT projects reach sign off and completion.”

Additionally, Axios’s Senior Managing Consultant Brian Hendry will discuss the most effective way of building an IT business case in his seminar session on Thursday 8th June, 10:30-11:10am in Theatre 1.

Brian will explain why having a comprehensive business case is critical to understanding project goals and allows for greater communication along the sometimes-complicated service delivery process. This ultimately brings IT and the business closer by creating greater transparency with regards to project lifecycle, accountability and budgeting.

Brian said: “the importance of building an effective IT investment business case should not be underestimated. Clear vision of processes and enhanced communication between parties enables organizations to deliver services at the highest standards to their end users. assyst not only facilitates this, but encourages greater Knowledge-Sharing by being built around the ITIL® best practice framework.”
