SDL's Language Consulting Services Helped Cerner

SDL announced that its language consulting services have helped Cerner Corporation localize support sections of an innovative social media platform to enable collaboration with its more than 8,500 worldwide clients.

With offices spanning 25 countries across six continents, Cerner provides an integrated healthcare technology platform to support its clients worldwide in a multilingual context. Following its rapid global growth, Cerner experienced an increasing need for high-quality multilingual translations and needed to scale up translation volumes without increasing internal resources and external costs.

SDL's language consulting services worked with Cerner to design the best globalization strategy to align with the company's vision. In partnering with the SDL Language Services division, Cerner continues to develop new ways to deliver value to its clients while achieving scalability across all potential markets and promoting process standardization across multiple locations. The SDL Language Services division, in conjunction with SDL Translation Management System (SDL TMS), is enabling Cerner to increase its business agility and keep up with changes in documentation and software.
