SDL Named Top Web Engagement Management Provider

SDL announces that CMSWire has ranked SDL as the top provider in Web Engagement Management. CMSWire, a specialty publication from Simpler Media Group, published the rankings earlier on their website.

Web Engagement Management (WEM) is defined as the symbiotic integration of advanced personalization — including elements of interactive search, sophisticated multimedia management, robust social computing/networking features and marketing campaign management tools. CMSWire ranked SDL as the number one provider in its ranking of the five leaders in the WEM market, defined as "… the vendors with most experience in, and dedication to, personalization technologies, marketing campaign modules, analytics-focused application development methods, and the smooth integration of all three."

The SDL Tridion Web Engagement Management platform is a solution that enables non-technical enterprise marketers to engage with customers in real time, via a wide range of communication channels and devices: Web, smart phones, e-books, kiosks, etc.

"SDL did an excellent job of combining these tools into a product easily learned and used by non-technical marketers", wrote Tony White, contributing CMSWire author and founder of Ars Logica, a vendor-neutral advisory firm that helps clients assess their content management requirements. "For this reason, many of SDL Tridion's customers have experienced excellent results in improving conversion rates, average transaction amounts, and repeat traffic."
