NetApp Announces 2009 UK Partner Award Winners

NetApp celebrated the success of its UK partners at its third annual NetApp Partner Awards Dinner. The event, which took place in London's Bloombury Ballroom, brought together more than 200 guests for the awards ceremony and saw winners in eight categories recognised for outstanding achievements over the last twelve months. NetApp rewarded the success and commitment of both individuals and organisations as part of its ongoing commitment to its relationships with its partners and to the channel.

NetApp's senior sales and channel executives; Nick Thurlow, VP Sales, EMEA and Pete Rawden, Regional Director - Channels and General Business UK & Ireland were part of the panel that judged the awards. The entry and nomination process evaluated factors within each award category including new business activity, quality of NetApp deployments, exceptional customer experience and innovation.

- Outstanding Achievement - Professional Services Partner: ISC;
- Outstanding Achievement - SI Partner: IBM Global Services;
- Outstanding Achievement - Virtualisation Partner: Anix;
- Marketing Excellence: SCC;
- Outstanding Achievement - VIP Partner: b2net;
- Best New Partner: LETN;
- Outstanding Achievement - Sales Individual: Simon Birney, Alpha;
- Outstanding Achievement - Technical Individual: David Waters, Computerland.

NetApp Partner Award winners are able to display the NetApp Partner Award logo across their company's communications and receive additional marketing support. Sponsors of this year's awards include Bell Micro, DNS and Fastlane.
