Photography.Book.Now Salon and Symposium Arrives in London

Prominent photographers, artists, academics and industry leaders will convene in London for first annual Photography.Book.Now Salon and Symposium to share knowledge, network and showcase the latest in photographic publishing.

Hosted on October 10 by Blurb, the symposium will include a half-day educational program of expert panels and presentations exploring the modern photography book movement.

Speakers include Darius Himes, founder of Radius Books, Stuart Smith of Smith Design, Dewi Lewis of Dewi Lewis Publishing, Chris Boot of Chris Boot Ltd, and photographer Simon Roberts.

Attendees will learn how to curate and design memorable collections, how to market a successful book, and will benefit from the first hand experiences of mentors and peers.

Later, the Salon will exhibit the latest in self-published photography books from renowned artists such as Beth Dow, Jonathan Smith, Cara Phillips, Ed Panar, Michael Corridore, Talia Chetri, Benjamin Lowy and many others. The showcase will also include work from the Winners of the Photography.Book.Now Grand Prize for Best Self-Published Photography Book, held recently in September.

Amateur and professional photographers, artists and students are invited to meet and network with the best in the business over wine and canapés, as well as take the opportunity to promote their own work.
