Intercept Enables Charity to Deliver Best Value to Donors

Registered Charity New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) has awarded Intercept the contract for the provision of its managed hosted IT services.

The three year managed service contract for Intercept's OnlineDesktop Solution, will encompass the provision of all business applications software, hosting in Intercept's secure data centres, and the provision of technical support to all NPC's staff.

New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) was set up by a group of leading City financiers who realised that there was nowhere to go for independent advice on giving money to charity.

Established in 2002, the founders believe that by arming organisations and individuals with information on the results actually achieved by charities, they could direct funds to the most effective organisations, helping to change lives for the better. Its 40+ strong team provides research to identify where the need is greatest, advice to donors to make giving a rewarding and effective investment, and the tools to charities to help them communicate their results more effectively.

NPC chose Intercept's OnlineDesktop Solution because of its track record in delivering virtual IT solutions and its approach to understanding NPC's requirements.
