AKQA Nominated for the Most Interactive Clio Awards

AKQA has been nominated for ten interactive Clio awards. This makes it the most nominated agency for its work on the interactive shortlist in 2008.

AKQA's nominations include:
• Best Animation;
• Artistic Technique;
• E-Commerce/retail;
• Video/moving image (two nominations);
• Fresh Approach;
• Functional Design;
• Innovative Use of Technology;
• Microsite (two nominations).

The Clio awards are amongst the most recognised global awards competitions for advertising, design and interactive in the world. Each year, the Clio Awards appoints an average of 115 top creatives from 65 countries to seven distinct Clio jury panels. Juries comprise of individuals whose own work epitomises the vanguard in their respective fields. This ensures that each juror has a profound understanding of the global market's ever-evolving dynamics, industry innovations and creative work that represents the next wave.

The culmination of the competition takes place May 14-17, 2008 at the 49th Annual Clio Awards Festival, in Miami's South Beach.
