NemeriX to Showcase Its A-GPS and LBS Solutions at Mobile World Congress 2008

NemeriX announces that it will demonstrate its latest A-GPS solutions enabling "navigation and location everywhere" at Mobile World Congress 2008 (Hall 2, Stand 2H41, 11th - 14th February, Fira de Barcelona, Spain).

NemeriX provides the world's lowest power GPS semiconductors, enabling A-GPS solutions to be incorporated into a wide range of handheld and portable devices. NemeriX will be exhibiting its complete range of high-performance, low-power GPS systems for battery-powered applications – including vehicular, pedestrian navigation and location-based services.

In conjunction with a globally recognized and commercially successful cellular baseband semiconductor supplier, NemeriX will demonstrate and discuss the successful implementation of its NX3 A-GPS solution embedded within a baseband architecture. Additional highlights will include focus areas on NeX, NemeriX's A-GPS Extended Ephemeris solution – targeted for mobile handsets and other devices requiring the ability to quickly acquire positioning information "deep-indoors" or in harsh multi-path environments – and NemeriX's hosted A-GPS solutions, successfully implemented on a myriad of operating systems often in less than 24 hours.

Senior NemeriX's executives will also be on hand to share their perspective on the "last mile" navigation market, as GPS starts to be taken from the car and into the rest of our lives. NemeriX will be offering their insight into the next generation of location-based services that will transform the mobile user experience – including social-based networking (find a friend/family member, dating, gaming), location-based marketing, targeted advertising, 3D imaging, mobile banking authentication, pay-per-use car insurance, litigation resolution for speeding tickets, and much more.
