CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 Takes Design Online

Corel announces that the newest version of its graphics suite, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4, is now fully integrated with Bitstream's WhatTheFont service and ConceptShare, two leading web applications that accelerate the design process by providing users with easy online access to font identification and client feedback.

In December 2007, Corel and ConceptShare announced the launch of www.CorelDRAWConceptShare.com, a site where CorelDRAW users could share designs online and collaborate with clients and colleagues. With the launch of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4, the two companies have taken the partnership one step further, introducing the new CorelDRAW ConceptShare docker, an online collaboration tool that is fully integrated within CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. With the new CorelDRAW ConceptShare docker, users can share their designs with colleagues and clients in real time directly from within CorelDRAW. Available in multiple languages, this innovative online tool enables users to create multiple workspaces, upload their designs and invite others to provide feedback or submit their own ideas online, simply by accessing the convenient docker within CorelDRAW X4.

To save designers even more time, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 also includes WhatTheFont, the online font identification service from MyFonts.com. WhatTheFont lets users upload scanned images of fonts to its web site, where it then displays the closest match to the font sample provided. CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 users can now access this feature from directly within CorelDRAW, Corel PHOTO-PAINT, and Corel CAPTURE, accelerating layout and text editing by making it fast and easy for users to quickly identify the font used in existing bitmap designs, artwork or other images received from clients.
