AMCC Announces Mac OS X Leopard Support

Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) showcases support for Mac OS X Leopard on its 3ware Sidecar, an external SATA II hardware RAID solution, at this week's Macworld Conference and Expo.

The 3ware Sidecar is a powerful desktop RAID storage solution designed for creative professionals and enthusiasts who care about their data and just can't risk losing it. With capacities up to 4TB, users can store and protect tons of their photos, songs, videos, illustrations, web pages and documents at speeds that are significantly faster than Firewire or USB.

An in-booth product demo will feature Mac OS X Leopard and Apple's Time Machine automatic backup utility. Time Machine keeps an up-to-date copy of everything on your Mac which can then be stored and RAID protected on the 3ware Sidecar.
