CyberLink Presents CyberLink Live at CES 2008

CyberLink announces that it is demonstrating CyberLink Live, the recipient of the prestigious CES Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Award in the Home Networking product category, during CES this week. CyberLink Live features a free downloadable home media server and a free web service. Combined, they enable consumers to remotely access the media files stored on their home PCs with any web-browsing device. The software is demonstrated at the Las Vegas Hilton, Suite 2365. It will also be displayed at Innovations Plus at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Booth #70621.

Designed for people who are on-the-go, CyberLink Live gives consumers the flexibility to access live TV shows, music, photos, videos, documents and webcam videos from their home PC simply by placeshifting the media content on their home servers.

CyberLink Live features a highly interactive user interface that is easy-to-use and robust. With the service, consumers have a secure way to share videos and photos with friends and family members without having to upload files to the Internet. They can access the site to play shared media, view photos in animated slideshows, read and write comments. In addition, with the recently introduced CyberLink Live Photo Frame Gadget, users can stream their pictures and music to their Vista Sidebar Gadget, Google Desktop or Yahoo Widget.

For webcam users, CyberLink Live features email notification whenever the webcam detects motion or when recording stops, and allows users to delete unwanted recorded video files remotely. Optional features such as remote webcam recording, scheduled recording for multiple cameras, and record on detection of motion are also available.
