Pinnacle Studio 11 Gets Three New Add-on Packs

Pinnacle Systems, the consumer division of Avid Technology, announces the immediate availability of three new add-on packs for its Pinnacle Studio 11 video editing software. Available in time for holiday gift-giving, the new add-on packs include Pinnacle Scorefitter Volumes 1 and 2 with themed collections of original, royalty-free songs and Pinnacle Title Extreme, for adding broadcast-quality titles and text effects to videos.

Scorefitter Vol. 1 and 2 are for use with Pinnacle Studio 11's Scorefitter music engine, a tool that automatically generates a soundtrack to match the length and mood of the movie being created. The background tracks are full-length songs with 48 kHz CD-quality sound. To add these music tracks to a movie, users simply place the song on the audio timeline. Scorefitter does the rest.

Scorefitter Volume 1 introduces a new category of soundtracks. This new type is called a "Stinger" (which is very short: 3-8 seconds). Stingers are sounds or audio effects used to accompany short video sequences such as transitions, video effects or animated graphics. Scorefitter Volume 1 includes 4 stinger categories and 10 music source tracks. Scorefitter Volume 2 includes 15 music tracks. Both versions offer up to 12 variations (tempo, mood) per track, depending on the length to be generated.

Inspired by pop culture designs, Pinnacle Title Extreme provides Pinnacle Studio 11 users with two comprehensive title solutions that will make their videos look like they were created by a professional. In addition to 30 new title templates with new fonts and new textures, the package includes the proDAD Heroglyph 2.5 title plug-in which enables users to create their own broadcast-quality titles and text effects. Fully compatible with SD and HD video projects, Heroglyph supports 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios as well as full-screen and lower-third formats.
