| Ingres Joins Forces with Business Objects Ingres has announced a strategic relationship with Business Objects, a provider of business intelligence solutions, in which Ingres will integrate its enterprise-grade open source database with the BusinessObjects Edge Series. The packaged integration will provide mid-market companies with a BI solution and significant cost savings. These solutions will be offered in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan in 12 languages. While widely accepted as a mission-critical component for large enterprises, BI now has become critical to a successful growth strategy for mid-market companies.
