Fellowes Establishes a Joint Venture in Russia

Fellowes has established a joint venture based in Moscow, Russia. Fellowes Russia, under the leadership of Alexander Kolesnik, will focus on increasing the distribution and growth of Fellowes range of business machines and office products.

"Over the past 13 years, Pragmatic has successfully built a first class business in the Russian marketplace. In 2003, Fellowes appointed Logica, the new company created by Pragmatic, as our Master Distributor for Russia. During this time, under Alexander's leadership, Fellowes has rapidly become the leading brand in business machines so we are delighted to have formalized Fellowes Russia and excited to be fully represented in such a dynamic market", commented Andrea Davis, President of Fellowes Europe.

Davis added: "This new joint venture will enable us to continue growing and developing the Russian market by offering our customers the full Fellowes package tailored to meet the needs of the local market, from excellence in marketing and product innovation through to supply and distribution."

On the new joint venture, Kolesnik: "I am delighted to be part of such a Global organization and we are confident that Fellowes Russia will have a significant impact in the market. We will be focusing on leveraging Fellowes expertise and consumer insight to work with our customers in creating and driving demand".

Employing 33 people, the new joint venture is an important milestone for Fellowes and is part of their continued strategy to expand their presence in core markets across the world. This is the second joint venture announcement of 2007 for Fellowes, following the opening of Fellowes China in January.
