Kodak's New Digital Camera to Feature CyberEVF 230-NF Module

Kopin announces that Eastman Kodak Company has expanded its use of Kopin electronic viewfinders by selecting Kopin's CyberEVF 230K-NF module for its new EASYSHARE Z812 IS digital camera. It is the fourth EASYSHARE model unveiled using Kopin's ultra-compact EVF. The CyberEVF 230K-NF displays brilliant, natural color images in virtually any light. It ensures that the image seen through the EVF precisely matches the photograph – at any zoom level. For digital camera manufacturers, Kopin's complete EVF solution provides reduced time to market and lower production costs.

The KODAK EASYSHARE Z812 IS with 8.2 mega pixels is designed for the aspiring photographer who wants an easy-to-use camera that delivers exceptional image quality with every shot. Equipped with the impressive Schneider-Kreuznach 12x optical zoom lens, the Z812 IS captures HD still images and video, and has the ability to extract quality still pictures from videos. The camera's auto-focus accuracy, Optical Image Stabilization and high ISO (up to 3200) allow consumers to capture brighter, clearer shots in low-light or fast-action situations. It also features Face Detection Technology, which automatically adjusts the camera's settings – and gives users the option of manually selecting the aperture and shutter speed.
