Harvey Electronics Showcases Digital HD Radio Products

Harvey Electronics announceы that the Company is selling HD radio receivers which allow customers to listen to a wide variety of HD Radio stations in their homes. Harvey customers can experience this new technology on a variety of exciting models from several quality manufacturers at all price points.

HD Radio broadcasting is crystal-clear, subscription-free digital AM and FM radio. More than 1,300 HD radio stations across the country are offering over 600 new HD2 multicasting channels, or "stations between the stations. These additional stations offer new content to each local community including stations dedicated to classical, rock and roll, rap, hip hop, country, bluegrass, new age, oldies, alternative, and funk, among others. HD Radio receivers offer valuable information across their display screens, such as song title, artist, traffic, weather, news, school closings and other emergency alerts. HD Radio broadcasting offers vastly superior sound: AM sounds like FM stereo; FM is CD-like quality. There is no monthly subscription fee for HD radio service.

Listeners can learn about what local radio stations broadcast using the HD Radio technology by listening for Harvey advertisements that will soon run on several stations. Some of the many local AM and FM HD Radio stations in the New York metro area include: WABC-770, WCBS-101.1, WFAN-660, and WAXQ-104.3.
