Samsung Upgrades Its Deluxe Full HD LCD TVs

Samsung Electronics has announced a new select line of LCD TVs loaded with an array of new technologies and features that leave nothing out from action-packed movie blockbusters and fast-paced sporting events. The allure of this lineup (F8, 40"/46") is the 100Hz MotionPLUS technology which enhances motion to eliminate blur in quickly moving pictures. Scrolling at a fast 100Hz, the F8 uses advanced algorithms in Samsung's new 100Hz MotionPLUS processor to create a middle frame between image movements, intelligently anticipating the action and leaving the viewer with more natural and smoother images.

What sets these units apart from other TVs using 100Hz technology is Samsung's patented super clear LCD panel and Full HD 1080p technology. Put together, the F8s delivers blacker blacks and a high dynamic contrast ratio of 25,000:1, at resolutions nearly two times sharper than conventional HD TVs (resolution 1920x1080).

The new design leaves nothing to be desired either. Samsung's new F8 lineup comes in elegantly styled glossy black units that boast soft, understated lines touched off by Samsung's signature crystal clear glass trim, icy-blue lighting, and the uniquely sophisticated side switches.

To heighten the viewing experience, Samsung has also equipped the F8 line with its Wide Color Enhancer, which boosts color detail and luminance by creating a wider range of colors and makes traditionally weak greens and blues deeper and more vivid.

Besides the great pictures, gamers and movie buffs will be attracted to the deep surround sound and easy-to-use connectivity features. F8 units come with two additional built-in sub-woofers that drive more power into the lower frequencies of the 2.2 channel stereo. In addition, Samsung's Game Mode automatically deepens rich bass of this line while also providing faster image response time to sharpen images and provide richer colors.

The F8s come with 3 conveniently located HDMI inputs that allow users to connect all their latest HD components, such as Blu-Ray Players, game consoles, and HD camcorders. In addition, the new Wiselink USB 2.0 feature enables handy connections with digital cameras and MP3 players.
