Corel and Intel Demonstrate WinDVD's Enhanced Support for Intel Clear Video Technology

Corel announces that Intel is demonstrating the Corel WinDVD enhanced support for Intel's Clear Video Technology at the Intel Developer Forum taking place from September 18 to 20, 2007 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The companies will be featured at IDF's Technology Showcase. OEM and retail versions of WinDVD, featuring enhanced support for Intel Clear Video Technology, will be available beginning in the Fall of 2007.

Delivering both performance and picture enhancements on Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows XP, WinDVD will take full advantage of Intel's G965/GM965/G33/G35 Express chipsets, which incorporate the Intel Clear Video Technology. These chipset decoding enhancements enable smooth playback of high-definition content while the post processing enhancements, including de-interlacing, noise reduction, sharpness and color control, deliver improved visual quality for standard definition video content.
