MP3tunes Launches LockerSync 3.0

MP3tunes has announced the availability of LockerSync 3.0, enhanced music software that quickly and easily uploads consumers' purchases from iTunes, Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart or any other store that sells DRM-free music, for smart back-up and listening anywhere. With LockerSync 3.0, available for Windows, Mac and Linux, the consumer can choose to sync complete music libraries, selected albums, playlists or even individual tracks to a secure online Music Locker whenever they buy DRM-free music online or digitally convert physical CDs.

Heralding an era of non-DRM music, listeners now have a simple way to access their MP3 music purchases on multiple devices and computers via LockerSync 3.0 from MP3tunes. Whenever users add tracks to their music collection - whether purchased from any of these new DRM-free music stores or through their digitally converted CD collection - LockerSync 3.0 automatically locates the new tracks and adds them to their MP3tunes Music Locker. Personal music collections are no longer tied to the PC or limited to a single device - music lovers can now keep their music libraries safely online, with smart back-up and unlimited listening access on every user-owned computer and web-enabled device.

LockerSync 3.0, the successor to MP3tunes' Oboe 2.0 sync software, has increased speed and CPU efficiency and allows consumers to schedule when new DRM-free additions to their music library are uploaded to the MP3tunes Music Locker. Once the music is synced, users can use the Tune-Up track tagging technology, enjoy existing or create new playlists, and instantly listen to their music collection through any web browser, as well as numerous devices, including Logitech's Squeezebox, the Nokia N800 Web Tablet, TiVo and, in Europe, the complete line of NOXON iRadio devices.
