MIPC Selects Visto to Bring Push Email to China's Mobile Workforce

Visto announces that the Tianjin MIE Productivity Center (MIPC) and Ke An Vehicle Satellite Location Network Technology Corporation (Ke An) have selected Visto Mobile to bring push email to their Global Positioning System customers.

As the government agency that offers "Software as a Service" applications to Tianjin's businesses, MIPC can now offer real-time access to business-critical data from the GPS application implemented by Ke An. With over 100,000 vehicles currently using the GPS service, offering full mobile access has become a necessity.

With the Visto-enabled service, key staff members within an organization can receive critical information about the status of a vehicle so if there is a disturbance in the route or schedule, the situation can be remedied before it becomes an issue.

The combined service will be offered in conjunction with a range of low-cost data plans available from China's leading mobile operators.
