Alaric International Appoints Martin Hewgill as Head of Marketing
Alaric International has undertaken a strategic reorganisation of its sales and marketing functions, led by the key appointment of payments industry expert Martin Hewgill as new Head of Marketing.
The sales and marketing organisations are being strengthened to reflect the company's growth plans and combined into a new Business Development Group, headed up by Steve Lomax, Director of Sales and Marketing. Martin Hewgill, a familiar name in the payment and risk management solutions industry, will lead the marketing team, while new appointments to the EMEA sales team include Tony Nicholls (with responsibilities for the UK, Ireland, Benelux and France) and Nick Searle (with responsibilities for the Nordic countries, Central/Eastern Europe, Sub Sahara and Africa).
In recent months, Alaric has extended its international distribution network with several key partner signings, and opened new regional offices in Australia and the US.
Hewgill has been a senior subject matter expert in the payments and risk management industry for 25 years, working to build enterprise-wide solutions for top financial institutions worldwide. He served as Fraud and Risk Management Consultant at ACI and was latterly a Director of Fraud Product Strategy at Fair Isaac Corporation.
