Adobe Unveils LiveCycle Enterprise Suite

Adobe has introduced Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite, an integrated family of software for automating processes that help businesses and governments more effectively engage with customers, citizens, partners, and suppliers. LiveCycle ES integrates the capabilities of Adobe Flex and PDF technologies, while leveraging the reach of Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader to enable a new class of "customer engagement" applications that easily connect people inside and outside organizations to internal information and processes.

With LiveCycle ES, organizations can deliver external-facing applications that are easier to interact with. This enables companies to better communicate with people who may be frustrated with, or confused by on-line procedures, and are likely to abandon transactions, resorting to higher cost avenues such as in-person visits or phone assistance. By transforming processes such as account enrollment, claims processing or guided self service into engaging applications, businesses and governments can improve customer service, decrease costly cycle times, and manage information faster and more accurately.

LiveCycle ES improves how people worldwide interact with – and benefit from – products and services. For example, financial institutions can use LiveCycle ES to interact with customers through high-quality, self-service applications, offering them a wider array of services on-demand while streamlining processes and minimizing costs. Additionally, LiveCycle ES enables governments to advance the quality and breadth of services they offer to citizens, accelerate time to deliver services, safeguard confidential information and dramatically reduce inefficiencies.

LiveCycle ES includes scalable solution components to build, manage and optimize these business critical customer-facing processes. Now, organizations can use wizard-like Form Guides and Flash-based graphics to dramatically change the way users interact with the process of providing, or receiving information online. Once data is captured, LiveCycle ES automates the processing of that data, including integration with rules engines, data stores, and Web services. LiveCycle ES also provides customers with enhanced data output capabilities such as interactive dashboards and dynamic, high-volume print solutions. Additionally, LiveCycle ES offers rights management, document certification, and digital signatures capabilities to help organizations protect sensitive information.
