Dads Really Can Do With DadCanDo

Everyone knows that dads are superheroes, capable of doing anything and fixing everything. But sometimes even intergalactic megamen feel jaded, worn out, battle weary and fresh out of world saving ideas.

And that's especially true if you are a single dad struggling to cope with the emotional rollercoaster that you and your kids are on, on top of dealing with all the usual mundane day-to-day stuff.

Well, all that is about to change with the launch of www.dadcando.com – a website dedicated to the twin objectives of telling dads that they really are great and giving them hundreds of awesome ideas and projects for making amazing things with their kids – and it's all for free.

For example you and your kids can make the best paper aeroplanes you have ever seen and they are already completely designed. All you have to do is print, fold and fly. How about some funky pompoms? Or more advanced models like Doctor Who's TARDIS?

Or maybe you want to make a submarine or a helicopter or flowers or design a shirt. Try the cardboard crossbow (quite harmless, it fires straws) you'll be amazed at how easy it is and your kids will be impressed with the look and feel.

Everything in the 'Making' section requires nothing more than recycled household junk and can be made in a few minutes and the finished items look brilliant. A glue gun is the only weapon you will need.

There's even a section on cooking meals for you and your kids, so no more spending ???s on burger bar or pizza house junk food. The "No Weigh" recipes are simple, straightforward, delicious and designed with a dad and his kids in mind. Your kids will love them and you will be a kitchen god.

www.dadcando.com is a labour of love and the brainchild of one time advertising industry Creative Director and single father of four Chris Barnardo, who just happens to be a descendent of Dr. Barnardo's family, founder of the original children's charity.

Chris is passionate that dads are heroes to their kids and wanted to create a site that celebrated fatherhood in a practical way, one that gives single dads easy ways to connect with their kids. He also wanted to create an environment where single dads would find positive support. www.dadcando.com is the culmination of those two aims.
