CommVault Expands Presence in Asia-Pacific

CommVault has announced the appointment of Brad Colwell as country manager for CommVault's Singapore office. Reporting to Gerry Sillars, managing director, CommVault Oceania/ASEAN, Colwell's responsibilities include the forging of critical alliances with major system integration and value-added reseller partners to provide better coverage for CommVault's enterprise suite of Unified Data Management solutions. CommVault's Singapore office will serve as an important link to CommVault's growing base of customers in the telecommunications, media, finance and public sector markets, providing localized support and service. The Singapore office also extends the company's Asia-Pacific presence which already includes offices in China and Australia.

Colwell brings to his new role more than ten years of sales management experience and a strong foundation in technical solutions sales. Prior to joining CommVault, Colwell was the regional director for Asia-Pacific at SupportSoft, a leading provider of real time service management platforms. Additionally, Colwell has held strategic accounts sales roles with leading CRM software vendors such as Siebel Systems (now Oracle).
