Two New Fargo Card Identity Systems Unveiled

Fargo Electronics has announced the introduction of two complete card identity systems featuring the DTC550 and the DTC400 card printer/encoders. The systems include the hardware, software and materials needed to create secure, professional ID cards. The DTC550 Card Identity System meets the needs of both security and IT in enterprise-wide environments such as medium-to-large corporations, post-secondary educational institutions, public safety departments, large hospitals and research centers, state and local government facilities as well as large organizations that have membership applications. Its modular design allows the system to expand with customer needs including modules for encoding up to three different technologies, lamination for added security and durability, and Ethernet connectivity for card issuance anywhere on a network.

Included in the DTC550 Card Identity System are:
- DTC550 single-sided printer/encoder;
- Fargo Asure ID Express software;
- inPhoto Capture camera software;
- USB digital camera;
- Full-color, 500-image ribbon with cleaning roller;
- 500 UltraCard PVC cards;
- USB Cable.

The DTC400 Card Identity System is designed for small- to mid-sized corporations, K-12 schools, police and fire departments and other local government agencies that need a simple way to print and encode plastic cards. It is easy to operate, virtually maintenance free and can be field upgraded to add dual-sided printing or smart card, proximity and magnetic stripe encoding.

The DTC400 Card Identity System includes:
- DTC400 single-sided printer/encoder;
- Fargo Asure ID Solo software;
- inPhoto Capture camera software;
- USB digital camera;
- Full-color, 250-image ribbon cartridge with cleaning roller;
- 300 UltraCard PVC cards;
- USB Cable.
