CyberLink's Native 64-bit Software Encoder for Vista Media Center

CyberLink has released CyberLink Software Encoder 1.1, for enabling real-time MPEG-2 TV recording via Windows Vista Media Center. CyberLink Software Encoder 1.1 offers native 64-bit support for PCs using the Windows Vista operating system.

Benefits include:
- Better multi-tasking with less loading on system resources;
- Access to more memory made available on 64-bit systems, enabling creation of larger, higher-quality, video files;
- More accurate recording of TV content, ensuring fewer jitters and frame drops, creating files that deliver a smoother viewing experience.

Optimization for dual-core processors from Intel and AMD — and optimization for Intel processors featuring Hyper-Threading technology — supports the improved multitasking of processor-intensive activities while recording TV, like DVD playback, video editing, or disc burning. The CyberLink Software Encoder meets the requirements for the Windows Logo Program for Windows Vista.
