PlanOn Announces New DocuPen R700+ Portable Scanner

PlanOn Systems Solutions has debuted the new and improved DocuPen R700+. The patented DocuPen R700+ is the next generation of portable scanners from PlanOn. Its predecessor, the DocuPen R700, provided portable scanning solutions to various applications, such as, legal, real estate, constructions, students, business executives, etc. The new and improved DocuPen R700+, has double the memory capacity of the R700 and comes in a stylish black non slip coating. The flash memory of the R700+ is increased to 4MB, offering the user the ability to store up to 200 scanned documents.

The DocuPen R700+ is a portable, full-page scanner that is about the size of a pen and weighs only 1.75 ounces. The R700+ is completely PC independent, and comes equipped with built-in processor, rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, and 4 MB on-board flash memory.

As a bonus, the DocuPen R700+ package includes Nuance's PaperPort OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to manage scanned documents and connect to programs such as Outlook, WinFax, Notepad, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

System Requirements: Windows 2000/ME/XP, CD-ROM drive, 32 MB RAM, 60 MB hard disk space, and USB port.
