Woolworths Gains Low Price Advantage for Christmas with NetPrice

Woolworths is ensuring its customers are offered low prices with the support of a new service from Cogenta that tracks competitive prices on named products on a daily basis. The service, NetPrice100 can gather information of client-specified products from competitive websites quickly and efficiently to enable retailers to optimise profit margins and increase sales.

Customers of NetPrice100 receive a daily emailed spreadsheet which shows clear competitive pricing and stock information. What's more, the spreadsheet can easily be manipulated to discover intelligence such as average prices and the price difference between the highest and lowest. NetPrice100 is a subscription service that is inexpensive, requires no software installation and can be up and running in days.

Retailers, e-tailers, vendors and distributors can use the NetPrice100 service or upgrade to NetPrice, which can track unlimited online products and competitors. NetPrice was launched in September, and is already being implemented by one of the UK's largest online retailers, details of which will be available shortly.

NetPrice and NetPrice100 are new services from Cogenta, following the release of its Research Director product earlier this year. Research Director intelligently finds, shortlists and manages complex online searches in less time. The tool significantly improves results for people who perform complex search processes online and it is already in use by global banking, financial and pharmaceutical organisations. There is no comparable solution available as it helps researchers complete their jobs more efficiently, putting them in control of vital information and freeing time for true analysis.
