Genuitec's MyEclipse 5.1 with New 'All-in-One' Installer Available

Genuitec has announced the immediate availability of MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench 5.1. The new release will include several upgrades and new features, as well as the "All-in-One" Installer which bundles Java 5 JRE, Eclipse 3.2.1, and MyEclipse 5.1 together into one simple download, allowing developers to quickly get up and running in all three technologies.

MyEclipse 5.1 combines these features with its existing toolset that encompasses the Java application development lifecycle from heavyweight J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) development to lighter-weight, Java-based alternative frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring. MyEclipse 5.1 Enterprise Workbench incorporates the following capabilities and enhancements for Eclipse and Open Source developers:
• Notably, the All-in-One Installer includes Java 5 JRE, Eclipse 3.2.1 and MyEclipse 5.1 bundled together in one download, allowing any developer (no matter what proficiency) to get up and running on Java instantly. The stack will be the first one-stop shop for downloading Sun/Eclipse/MyEclipse tools in one process-all tested and fully interoperable.

• Added wizard to create Web Service Client from any WSDL file, local or remote (URL)
• Upgraded Web Services XFire to latest release 1.2.2
• Improved validation framework performance; JSP now 7x faster and includes the ability to exclude resources from validation
• Matisse4MyEclipse now supports custom user forms, custom controls, improved usability
• Spring IDE 1.3.6 integrated
• Web 2.0 Browser now supports HTTPS
• Improved stability of Visual Web Designer for Linux
• Enhanced Hibernate HQL editor supports multi-project configuration
• Supports user deployment of prepackaged EJBs along with MyEclipse enterprise projects
• MyEclipse now fully i18N enabled
• New Tomcat Server Connector
• Improved Sybase SQL syntax support.
