vSocial and Adify Launch In-Video Advertising Solution

vSocial and Adify have announced the availability of an end-to-end solution that enables video publishers of all sizes to publish, brand, virally distribute and monetize their online video content via in-video advertising. Jointly developed by both companies, the offering allows publishers to either directly sell their video content inventory to advertisers or tap into a video ad marketplace.

vConnect's video platform now offers integrated commercial advertising through Adify's ad network offering. In-video ads are delivered as text, images, flash animation and fully integrated video ads, which allow commercials to run prior to the start of video content as a "pre-roll", at the end of video content as a "post-roll" or as a text-based "ad ticker" that streams across the base of the video player.

Adify's hosted advertising platform is used to sell video images and enrich media advertising inventories. Video publishers set the pricing and terms (CPM, CPC, sponsorship) of the ad space, and control the display and placement of the ads in online content. Adify provides the backend functionality required to execute transactions, including ad management, tracking, reporting, billing and payments.
