PortalPlayer Powers SanDisk Sansa c200 MP3 Player

PortalPlayer says its personal media player platform technology has been designed into the SanDisk Sansa c200 family of affordable, feature-rich MP3 players. This announcement comes on the heels of the Sansa e280 introduction in August, which also uses PortalPlayer's technology and offers 8GB of flash memory storage. The SanDisk Sansa c200 personal media players incorporate a PortalPlayer platform similar to the one that powers Sansa e200 family of products.

The c200 MP3 players feature a color display, a microSD card slot, digital FM radio, voice recorder, a hi-speed USB 2.0 interface and up to 2GB memory. Content and subscription music can be downloaded from on-line music providers such as Rhapsody, Napster and Yahoo! Music.
