Virtual Painter Version 5 Released

P. & A. America has announced the release of Virtual Painter version 5 for the Windows operating system. Virtual Painter 5 turns digital photos into beautiful paintings with a few mouse clicks. Virtual Painter 5 is a collection of 16 different artistic filters such as watercolor, oil painting, color pencil, pastel, etc.

The application applies those filters to digital photos with a variety of painting surface options which include canvas, paper, wood, cork and more. As well, users can adjust several filter settings including rendering, coloration and deformation to the way in which each filter effect is applied. The quality of each filter effect has been drastically improved since the previous version as if it were a completely new set of filters.

There are 2 different versions of Virtual Painter 5; the Standalone and the Plug-In version. The Standalone version runs by itself to create beautiful art. It does not require any other applications. The Standalone version would be a great choice for most PC users.

The Plug-In version runs with other graphic applications which support Adobe plug-in such as Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Corel Paint Shop Pro. Users can run Virtual Painter 5 directly within their favorite graphic applications. This makes the Plug-In version extremely flexible.

Available Artistic Effects: Watercolor, Oil Painting, Gouache, Color Pencil, Pastel, Rectangles, Triangles, Impasto, Pointillism, Silk Screen, Collage, Drawing, Airbrush, Embroidery, Gothic Oil Painting and Fauvist Oil Painting.

Virtual Painter 5 runs under Windows 98, ME, 2000 and Windows XP. It requires 64MB of RAM and 20MB of free hard disk space.
