LG.Philips LCD a manufacturer and supplier of thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels. The Company manufactures TFT-LCD panels in a wide range of sizes and specifications for use in high definition LCD TVs, desktop and notebook computer monitors, and many other applications including cellular phones and portable media players.

LG.Philips LCD has seven production facilities in Korea, including the world's largest 7th generation plant, part of the cutting edge Paju Display Cluster. The company has a module plant in Nanjing China and a new module plant is now under construction in Wroclaw, Poland, widening its global network.

The company was founded in 1999 and was concurrently dual listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Korean Exchange (KRX) in July 2004. With its headquarters in Seoul and offices around the world, LG.Philips LCD employs over 21.000 people.
