The silicon.com CIO Forum to Take Place on September, 26th

Award-winning online publication silicon.com, a property of CNET Networks UK, has announced the silicon.com CIO Forum will take place on 26 September at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

The annual conference, which attracts a highly influential audience of the UK's leading CIOs, IT directors and other heads of IT, offers an unrivalled stage for the exchange of ideas and information. Chaired by Ren? Carayol, CEO, Inspired Leaders Network, this year's Forum looks at a range of issues including 'Leadership: The CIO as a corporate trailblazer', 'Strategy: Using the language of the board to get buy-in', and 'Technology insights: Sourcing, managed services and SOAs' - providing invaluable insight into what makes a leading CIO.

The conference again features the unique CIO Jury debate bringing to life silicon.com's CIO Jury. The lively and informal courtroom-style debate puts the audience in the gallery, while the jury of prominent tech chiefs airs their views and members of silicon.com's CIO Jury deliver the verdict. The debate before the house this year is 'Should you fear Google?'.

Other highlights of the conference include the McCue Interview with John Suffolk, UK Government CIO; Q&A sessions; specialist work shops; and various panel debates. An impressive line up of speakers will be participating in the event, including:
- Peter Cochrane, silicon.com columnist and co-founder of ConceptLabs
- Neil Cameron, Global CIO, Unilever
- Darin Brumby, CIO, First Group
- Peter Dew, CIO, BOC.
