Clickdensity Launches New Package and Features

Box UK announces a number of new additions to clickdensity the unique usability analysis tool which generates heat maps of user activity, providing instant visual analysis of website visitor behaviour.

The Starter Package has officially launched on Monday 7th August 2006. This new package is aimed at smaller organisations, blogs and personal sites. The Starter Package comes complete with the full range of clickdensity features, including virtual heat map, click map, hover map and reporting functionality.

The Box UK team has been hard at work taking on board the feedback and comments of clickdensity users and developing new features which complement the already innovative suite of functionality. These features have now been implemented and include:
• Follow Targets: This highly requested piece of functionality enables users to ensure that clicks follow a specific target/link on a page and is particularly suitable for sites where content changes often.
• Advanced Options: Users can now specify internal URLs that visitors must have arrived at a page from, or subsequently gone to; plotting only the page clicks of these visitors.
• Page Folds: This feature enables users to see where typical screen resolutions would 'cut off' each page before scrolling. Early observations have indicated a correlation between click 'hotspots' and page content above the fold.

Other new features include: HTTPS support, virtual pages and a homepage shortcut link.

Box UK developers have also implemented a significantly improved algorithm, enhancing the reporting of hover map data and enabling the implementation of the Follow Target functionality.

Since launching less than two months ago, clickdensity has proved to be an unmitigated success. A number big names, from a broad spectrum of industries, are already enjoying the visual insight into their website usability that clickdensity provides.
