Traffix Launches Q121.com

Traffix has announced the official launch of Q121.com, the newest property being offered by its mobile media unit, mxFocus. Q121.com is the first online community to adapt social networking technology to the wireless content market, offering marketers a new platform to reach this rapidly growing population.

The Q121 Web site is free and offers a suite of social networking tools, which enable registered members to meet people, share interests and organize their personal digital content online, including music, ringtones, photos and video clips. Members are then able to transfer their own content to and from their mobile phones. The site will also enable members to text message friends and groups anonymously with a member ID.

After a month of beta testing, Q121.com has almost 50.000 registered users and is growing daily. Approximately half of all members have downloaded content to their phone, and of those, the average user has downloaded 6.2 pieces of content for the month. Q121.com's business plan calls for the introduction of premium content and services, which will be billed directly to the consumer's mobile phone and supported by advertisers.

Traffix is currently promoting Q121.com to its existing network of over 8 million mobile content consumers and 25 million monthly online network visitors.
