ChatterEmail Releases ChatterEmail+ 2.0

ChatterEmail has announced the availability of ChatterEmail+ 2.0 with new and enhanced features allowing Treo smartphone users to directly access the email in real time without the added complexity and expense of third party servers or desktop redirector. Version 2.0 of ChatterEmail has been tested and is compatible with the recently announced Treo 700P and includes new features to enhance message handling as well as set up wizards for quick configuration. ChatterEmail+ 2.0 is the perfect Treo upgrade for individuals and business that want real time email communication but do not need the expense and complexity associated with other enterprise solutions.

ChatterEmail+ is a real time email application for Palm OS based Treo smartphones that directly connects users to their email service eliminating the need for third party servers or desktop redirector. Version 2.0 includes quick setup up wizards for AOL, AIM, Gmail, Yahoo, Comcast, Earthlink, Electric Mail, Everyone.net and Fastmail as well as user defined POP and IMAP settings.

ChatterEmail+ allows the user to keep track of multiple mail accounts and folders. With its unique summary view users can see messages from multiple mailboxes in one view while easily scrolling messages using the Treo's 5-way or volume control keys. Users whose mail is stored on an IMAP server can delete or move messages to any folder and have those changes reflected on their server. POP users have new options that allow them to delete the message off the server or just of the Treo device. All users have the option to directly store incoming messages and attachments directly onto the Treo's SD card.

ChatterEmail+'s background operation alerts you when you have email with a wide variety of notifications that can be customized on a per mailbox basis. ChatterEmail+ includes background SSL incorporating PeerSec Network's MatrixSSL library. ChatterEmail+ allows users requiring SSL connectivity, such as Gmail, to take advantage of ChatterEmail's background operation. Users of ChatterEmail can also add SSL functionality.
