WorkWise Releases TCM Version 8.1

WorkWise, Inc. has announced the release of Version 8.1 of its Time Critical Manufacturing (TCM) suite of applications. TCM Version 8.1, available for the Microsoft Windows operating system, continues the TCM user interface improvements introduced in last year in Version 8.0.

TCM's Item Maintenance, Product Structure Maintenance, Estimate Maintenance, Purchase Order Maintenance and Factory Workstation all feature a more flexible and intuitive look and feel.

In addition, this latest Version of TCM includes an XML-based TCM-CRM interface to the new TCM eCRM module. The interface also allows users to share data between TCM and other third-party Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications.

TCM Version 8.1 also has added Request-for-Quote functionality to its Requisitions application and Account History to its Accounts Receivable application.

WorkWise has enhanced its web applications as well, improving the flow of data between client-server TCM and the web applications and has added container and master container logic to its eWarehouse web application.

Most significantly, TCM version 8.1 includes the Visual Scheduler's Workbench (VSW) a new, more powerful version of the TCM Scheduling Workbench. VSW provides direct access to shop floor scheduling-related functions, making it easy to quickly identify parts of the shop schedule that need attention and predict the impact of decisions made. User parameters allow color-coded tolerances to be set so that critical over and under load situations may be quickly identified and then addressed by real time adjustments to both capacity and load data.

TCM Version 8.1 is available to ship to the general public as well as the large WorkWise customer base throughout the United States and Pacific Rim that currently utilize the TCM applications to run their enterprise.
