SFW Unveils Accendo 4.0

SFW llc has launched Accendo 4.0, the newest release of its Web-based graphical mapping platform. Accendo 4.0 builds upon the success of past releases and SFW's overarching strategy to give facilities managers, security personnel, and other professionals who support the facility's infrastructure integrated control over all facility assets and information throughout the organization.

Accendo provides user-friendly functionality to help customers retrieve, store and manipulate information directly onto an organization's floor plans and maps, making it possible to capture the most updated facility information available. New to Accendo 4.0 is an improved user interface ensuring that facilities professionals have even more control in managing key assets such as office space, plant equipment, and emergency and safety elements. Accendo 4.0 also now works in any language.

Other key enhancements include:

* Drawings Function
- Using Accendo 4.0, virtually any drawing can be easily uploaded into the system. Maps and floor plans can be designed to scale for complete accuracy. Each client has complete control over the management of the drawings.

* Custom Assets
- Users can create and manage new assets on the fly in order to better track specific items within the organization. Clients can add assets with descriptive fields without having to contact SFW for assistance.

* Shared Files
- The Accendo 4.0 interface includes a new feature that enables users to upload any file relating to their daily operations for easy tracking on the system. For example, an organization's security and safety procedures can be added, referenced and edited directly in the software. This feature helps assure all information vital to an organization's infrastructure management operations are housed in one place for improved access and organization.

* Incident Search
- Accendo 4.0 includes a detailed search tool that allows users to analyze specific incidents according to the date and time of the occurrence. For instance, users can perform a search to determine the number of car thefts in one month compared to another to track patterns and identify solutions.

Accendo 4.0 runs on a simple browser that allows immediate, virtually real-time access and leverages SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) as its graphical engine. This technology provides continuous, high-resolution images of maps and floor plans, accurate location of assets and related information, and exact measurements of distances and areas. The software solution also supports several modules that SFW designed to meet specific infrastructure management challenges.
